Powder Coating
Powder Coating and Wet Paint Spraying is undertaken at our factory, Goldbury Coatings Ltd, Digby Street, Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
Powder Coating, together with all aspects of component preparation are undertaken and items up to 6 metres in length can be accommodated. Facilities include a very large conveyorised machine handling high volumes of parts, or very long items, and separate "off line" coating booths and ovens for smaller volume parts.
Goldbury Coatings Ltd. process parts made from many different materials, including most metals, and coat in a range of colours and textures, all to customer specifications. We are one of the very few businesses in the U.K. approved to apply the "Bonalux" range of anti-graffiti powders used extensively in the rail and other industries.
Wet paint spraying and stove enamelling is undertaken at the same factory, and we paint a variety of parts using both oil and water based paints. We also paint high quality vehicle (rail and other) parts using Isocyanate paints and enclosed "spray bake" ovens with the appropriate personal safety requirements needed when dealing with this type of product.
Whilst much of the painting output is of parts previously manufactured by our own engineering works, some 60% of current output is to other customers with their own painting or powder coating needs with no engineering input.
